Export Texts, SMS - Secure Text & Message Exporter App Reviews

Didnt work with iMessages on my IPad. Followed the crappy directions and got me nowhere. KEEP LOOKING. There has got to be someway to get iMessages exported to an excel file just like you are able to do it with text messages from the IPhone. This app does not do it.

Just instructions yo can find for free on the Internet. Wait if $.

Stay away, its basically a fake app. And they charge me $2. Im reporting fraud

The problem with this app is the instructions. I would have given it four or five stars but the instructions are so egregiously terrible I am only able to give it three stars. The instructions tell you to go looking for a file that does NOT EXIST where the instructions point you to go. The database file that is required to make this app work is in a hidden folder inside the "users directory" under the "library" directory. However, the instructions just tell you to go to the finder/Library which is the wrong place to go! Now, 99% of Apple/Mac users do not have a clue how to use the terminal window, nor do they know what the command is to make hidden files appear on a Mac. Most users probably dont even realize that there are hidden files at all. So expecting these users to intuitively know how to dissect the vague and inaccurate instructions is like taking a person that barely knows how to use Windows and telling them to go to the DOS prompt and start navigating around the system. Its like a foreign language to them. So, while the application does, in fact, work just fine and dandy...contrary to the many reviews that are written herein, the instructions are terrible. The manufacturer needs to step it up and tell people step-by-step how to unhide the hidden files, and then direct them to the proper folder where the hidden db file will then appear. So, developers? Game on… Step it up!

Not sure how this thing even got into the App Store, but it is totally miserable. It is an empty shell. Doesnt work. Total scam.

Ive tried everything but cant get this app to work. The instructions are poor - not helpful at all! Total waste of money - which by the way Id like back!!!

I downloaded the Free app first. I was only able to view the sample conversation. In order to download my own it made me purchase the full version. So I did. Still only allows for you to download their sample conversation. There is no way to get your own conversations to appear in the app for download. I want my mondy back Apple!

It says that it "requires no external software" and then its instructions begin, "To start, connect your iPhone / iPad to your computer." I want my money back, and for this to be removed from the app store.

Have been trying to back up my txts for the past 2 days. No instructions available! Dont waste your money.

They should not be allowed to even be on the app store. I have been trying to backup my txt messages for the past 2 days and have not been able to even though I am following the instructions. Went on the company’s website to try and call support and their support page doesn’t exist. Which makes me believe it’s a scam. DON’T BOTHER to buy. Total waste of my time. I am on the phone with the apple support getting a refund right now.
